I have been running e85 for 4yrs and 50k miles on my evo and I change my oil about every 5-7k miles and my cams wer changed recently. Since the cams are the last place to get oil they would show wear pretty early. My cams were PERFECT at 108k miles total. I also run 20w50 amsoil prem protection. Even with winter weather where some say 20w50 will cause top end wear due to the oil being too thick I have no issues. I do allow the car to warm up for for 5-10minutes in cold weather every day though.
