Do I need bigger injectors for my setup?

I am going to get a tune here within the next month or so,I've been going back in forth trying to decide between getting an email tune, or dyno session, and i'm curious if i'm going to be needing bigger injectors or a fuel pressure regulator before the tune. I am going to be driving the car daily, but it's not my daily driver, and I want more of a conservative tune, rather then an aggresive tune. Also hp wise, where do you think I will be at? Thanks.

06 evo ix (5 speed)
My current mods are:

K&N drop in filter
ETS LICP
Works turbo back exhaust (catless)
BBK Full (ported)
Map o2 dump
Gsc s1 cams
Aquamist hfs-3 Meth injection (50/50 mix) + 91 octane
Walbro 255lph pump
Evo scan + ecu flash

Yes you will man, to get the most out of your turbo & to have playroom later on I'd go with RC 1200 injectors. The stock ones will limit you. Pretty sure you'll max em out

Ok, thank you, I will be looking into injectors then. So as far as the FPR, the stock one is fine? I'm going to be driving around for a bit un tuned.

Yeah the stock fpr is fine, as far as driving un tuned I'd keep the stock injectors on until tuning day & drive on waste gate pressure till you're tuned.

I'd also recommend investing in a 3 port or mbc

fic bluemax 1250cc is what id recommend. it gives you leg room also and they have very good drive ability.

I have 650~ hp and im still on stock FPR.. lol theres no need for an aftermarket FPR in these cars imo with the right fuel mods.

im sure he has a boost controller.. id hope lol.

The aquamist is its own fuel, the injectors don't need to be that big. I ran fpblack on meth with 990c injectors. Don't know the duty they were at. I was pushing 542whp too.

ya that's very true, the meth is gonna richen the afr quite a bit in itself. the fic bluemax 1250 is the best injector imo for low/midrange power. they would probably support close to 600~hp on gasoline at stock fuel pressure. of course not on a single walbro though.

what front mount do you have AWD's? i remote tune bbk full's and get consistent 460~ out of them dynojet vd, but if you're lacking bolt ons you cant expect the same numbers.

the map o2 is good
the cams are good
the meth injection will help big time (what cc jets?)
everything you mentioned is good.

i would expect 450+ easy even if you're still on stock fmic because the meth will allow for a lot more boost and timing vs regular gasoline.

you definitely need a mbc or 3 port though for proper boost control.

as far as conservative tune, the only thing you need to worry about is keeping the torque down and your engine will stay together.

so something like this:

this is straight 93oct usa.. contains 5-10% ethanol.

Yes, I forgot to mention I'm using a manual boost controller in line with a Mac valve for boost cut for my fail safe method. I'm still on the stock block, and stock FMIC. I have 2 injection points out the exit of the intercooler, one is plugged for now, the other has an 0.8mm jet without a restrictor. I'm using the smallest jet size for now since Im only using water right till I go to get tuned, but i'm not building boost for that reason. Right now i'm having issues with my innovate wideband, it works sometimes, and then other times it doesn't, so thats next on my list before injectors. The reason I went with meth is because where I was living there was only 91 octane available, Since I moved I have not been able to look for any higher octane pumps.

So how do I go about keeping the torque down? and how much boost are these turbos happy with while keeping everything intact?

What type of injectors were you running?

with what was stated before about injector size and meth that some don't think about. DO NOT max out your injectors then add meth that is a bandaid fix. make sure you have injector left before adding meth. Also take your altitude into consideration. A guy at sea level will need a larger inj. than a guy like me that has his car in an elevation of 4200-5000+ feet.

Thank you, I will take that into consideration when choosing injectors. I am currently around 2,000 feet, where as my last town was 7500 ft.
