why wiesco 1400HD pistons over wiesco non HD

well building a 4g63 strocker 2.3L, and planning to be pushing about 650HP at max, wondering what piston i should go with wiesco 1400HD pistons, or can i get away with going the wiesco non HD pistons. Also im going to be using manlely I beam rods in the build aswell. link below to show a lil of what my build plan is.

There is a ton of labor involved with engine internals. Do it right the first time and over build, otherwise you are going to regret it.

1400HD dont crack along the wrist pin, they are strutted which makes them stronger, the off the shelf 1400HD has been proven in a low 8 second car. By off the shelf, I mean this part number-

K626M855

No tricks, no special prep, drop the pistons in and go.

If you're shooting for max of 650, there is no need for the HDs. The non-hds are used in all of MAP's Stage 1 builds, which are pushed to 650-700whp all of the time.

They cracked over time and I saw it personally in a 640whp motor. Went through this with all of the DSMs awhile ago. I am sure it has been revised since and isnt an issue, but why take the chance?

I'm with the other guys, why take the chance when your dumping a couple grand in your engine anyways. Just spend the couple extra bucks and do it right the first time, there really isn't a big price difference.
