Mate I am getting rid of my Ayc but not getting rid of my acd. Acd is good for what you guys call road racing or street use.

ehhh thats arguable if you launch correctly pretty sure their are many 9sec evo's on stock transfer case's. its the people that jump in and side step the clutch that give evo transfer cases a bad name..

I will be doing the same thing in my car in a month & you pretty much have the right idea. Remove ACD motor/pump/res, remove all lines, ACD computer inside the car, etc. Some of the lines are a bi*ch to remove because of some of the brackets holding them, around the steering rack area & above the driveshaft in the driveshaft tunnel. Once you remove the ACD stuff/computer I am pretty positive the 3 ACD lights will light up on the dash. Curt Brown or someone else on here posted a way to turn those 3 lights off.

I'll have my ACD t-case & all my ACD stuff pulled off in a month. T-case has 60k miles on it, great condition. Gear oil changed every 15k miles or so with Amsoil. ACD pump & whatnot in great condition as well. Never had any blinking ACD lights, etc. Car is garage kept & has only seen snow twice. Shoot me an offer if you are interested/and or don't find one before then.

Eliminate the ACD ECU, no more lights. I eliminated the entire system harness and all and installed on non ACD case w/Wavetrac diff, much happier without that heavy lump hanging over the left front corner.
