Turbo gurus

Is it possible to remove the j pipe for the evo 9 without removing the entire turbo?

I was trying to install a new J pipe this morning but I had no luck due to space around it and time limitation. I only had 3 hrs to work on the car and I did not accomplish it.

I also want to know the size of the bolt. is it 11, 12 or 13? When I was trying to squeeze the tool i can't seem to catch the edges.

It might be 12mm and it is possible. You would need a 3/8" socket, extension and ratchet get get the job done.

I did mine using an extension and a swivel joint.
