Torque Solutions underhood shift bushings

For those that installed the Torque Solutions ones, did you re-use the stock washer?

When I look up the how to for the Kartboy poly ones or the AMS/Speed Source/Buschur metal ones they say to re-use it, was wondering if the Torque Solutions were any different? (They feel like nylon/delrin...dont know if that changes the process)

do the underhood ones deteriorate the quickest?
What seems to be the prefered material, aluminum or poly? Preferred manufacturer?

I have both. I scratched one of the underhood bushings while trying to get the C-clip off and mine are definately aluminum. Maybe TS changed it?

TS lists the Delrin on their website under Shifter Cable bushings, and the aluminum under Shifter Base bushings

http://www.torquesolution.com/Mitsub...ts-scb-200.htm

http://www.torquesolution.com/Mitsub.../ts-bb-004.htm

So which is under hood and which is under the center consol?
