ETS 3.5 IC Wide Tank fitment problems

Well got around to installing my IC and am having a problem. The 2 bolts holes where the front bumper bolts too in the front by the 2 ic holes are being bent by the IC not letting me put those 2 screws in. Anyway around this?

I just cut those tabs off when I installed my ETS fmic. They were already in the way of my splitter mounts, so the bolts weren't in anyway. You don't need them. The four attachment points up top and two in the wheel well, along with the clips should be good. I race my car and haven't had any issues with it.

I'm not sure what he is referring to with the zip tie. We don't use zip ties on anything. I don't recall any cutting on the cover, just the lower grill bracket area, but that's with any front mount intercooler. I would most likely trim them like RJones suggested.

Will try bending the ic mounts tomorrow to try and straighten them out. Also going to cut the tabs for the front mounting bolts off. I assume noone has any problems not using them? What trimming of the lower grill are you referring to?
