I am paranoid about using thin oils so I use Amsoil ARO premuim protection 20w50 in the motor (Built 2.4L and stock) and now Severe Gear 75-140 in the trans and T/C. I do not want teeth torn off the gears when I install my 6262 like my DSM used to do regularly on standard 75-90 gear oil. Engine 5Qts and 3 for Trans and 1 for T/C. It is a little over $100 for the oils.

Close to 3 qts in the tranny.
Little over half a qt for each the tcase and rear diff.

Best way to do it is fill until it comes out the fill hole, drive it around and re check the levels.

Amsoil severe gear in the tcase and rear end too? That's what I run in my trans and I've been thinking about putting it in the transfer case...
