Not to rain on your parade but get your car first and learn how to drive it. It is already beyond most peoples capabilities.

going with a stock frame turbo is definatly a good choice, bolt right on and your good to go! If you did decide to go with a T3 setup i would strongly suggest a a GTX3076R http://cheapturbo.com/store/index.ph...product_id=126
they provide very fast spool (for its size) and will support 550-600whp, cheapturbo.com can also get bolt on GTX series turbos if your interested....

450 whp is not going to cut it.pretty sure those bikes run 11 flat or better these days.i would shoot for at least 500whp.even at 500whp,i'm still betting on the bike.i think 600whp and you beat him if you drive well.

i do know the 6262 would be plenty big,not sure about the green, red and black turbos.

also if going E85,you should go ahead and get some bigger injectors(the 1450cc and 1650cc aren't much more than the 1200cc) and a double pumper fuel pump.

You can beat a 600 with 450whp. Once you want to start to play with the big boys like 750 you will need more for sure. Liter bikes good luck unless you have crazy horsepower.

dont go with the 3076 if you want 550-600whp because there are only a 2-3 cars that are in that range on the 3076 and 2 of them are sponsors and that turbo is being pushed past its compressor map. so realistically you'd want at the smallest a 3576 gtx or a 3582r HTA or GTx.

i still say hx40 if you want that hp range and are on a budget. look at BadEvo's car...

not taking anything away from your car, but its because you ran against crappy riders

any 04+ ish 600 Supersport will trap minimum high 12x mph with a good rider at sealevel. from a low speed roll, you'll need atleast 450whp (dynojet) to keep up, 500+ to win

just saw your second post, is your buddy a big guy? haha

at least someone is living in reality in here.

since when does 450whp on a 3500lb car=high 10's and 130+?

guess what that is what the 600's can do with a good rider, and like fightex said, with an average rider 11 flat to low 11's and 128.

by the way the 750's are only a half tick quicker.

sorry, but it isn't easy to run 10's and 130 in an EVO.it will take money, the right setup and a good driver.450whp won't do it.

not trying argue with anyone here, maybe the guy you raced was real heavy or a crappy rider, but i just want the OP to realize, not all advice is going to be correct.

OP,if you build a car that weighs 3500lbs with you in it and puts down 450whp on a standard dynojet, you have no chance to run with or beat a recent model 600cc street bike.

this is all just based my opinion and experience.take it for what's its worth.

It isn't easy to run 10's on a 600 either. That would take a good rider.

If you want to start talking good driver vs. good rider then it will be a challenge for sure.

I haven't tried one from a dig yet though. Maybe I just got lucky every time.

you're right, but my point is no EVO driver can run 10's with 450whp unless the cars is gutted.

on a roll like you say it would be different b/c you could take off in decent boost.when you try one from a dig,you probably won't like it.i don't know what kind of racing the OP was talking about, but for drag racing,he is going to need 500+whp to break 11 seconds.
