500 whp on pump gas

Fully built 2.0L
GSC S2 Cams with beehive valve springs and Ti retainers
3 inch turbo back exhaust
Full race T3 manifold
ID2000 Injectors
Walbro 255 pump
ETS 3.5 inch intercooler with 2.5 inch custom piping

Looking for a turbo which will make 500+ WHP at about 28-30 psi, Pls keep in mind that we have 98 RON here. Not planning on using meth injection.

Need help to decide between the following

Precision 6062 Gen 2 ball bearing
Precision 6266 Gen 2 ball bearing
Precision 6466 Gen 2 Ball bearing

Any input would be much appreciated, since there is not much to go on about 6062 and there are almost no tests on any evo of this turbo, I just want to know if it will get me there or not.

98 RON is roughly the equivalent of US' 93 octane (RON + MON / 2), since on average MON is approx. RON - 10. You can pretty much compare results with US forum members that are using 93 oct.

On that note, I don't think running 28-30psi on 98 RON and 35+ deg Celsius is a good idea.

500 whp on pump gas

Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated. In the past we have run 35+ psi on 35r. Mind it its a low comp piston setup (8.2:1) and we dont run high timing here and try to keep it on the rich side. With meth we have run 50 psi on pump on a 67mm turbo. So our pump gas supports good boost given ofcourse the tuning is non aggressive. 6466 is the biggest of my 3 choices and also the laggiest. This will be used as a dd so want to achieve my goal of 500whp with as little lag as possible.

So I emailed precision and they suggest the 6062 GEN 2 for 500 whp on a 2.0 on pump gas... Any body have any experience with this turbo yet?

Stupid statement. Go with the absolute smallest turbo you can, I have the Red and it sucks to drive in my opinion. I can only imagine how much worse a bigger turbo would be.

You need to find a good MHI housing to get machined and put on that thing. Or build a 2.3L. I imagine getting a turbine housing will be cheaper...lol

Haha if I didn't blow money on buying the stm downpipe and modding my exhaust, it would be have been taken off by now and put back to stock turbo. No point in buying another downpipe and taking such a hit just to be back to where I began. Giant mistake changing the turbo, my previous experience with the Red is what sold me. Blah.
