Max boost a FP Black can run?

Ive hit the search bottom, i couldnt find really a solid answer. My question is what is the Max Boost i can run safely in a JB FP Black. I mean every day all day.

I would like to run 35-36psi but i feel like the turbo wont hold up.

I have seen people run 40PSI but how long do they hold up for?

PS: Im on E85 and it is a JB turbo

I haven't. I don't have a black. I was joking. You aren't going to find a "max boost" level.

i no people that run 36-40 psi but the question is how long do theses turbos last till they start to fall apart?

im sure people no a MAX Boost level that will not toast the turbo after 4,000 miles

The boost pressure doesn't matter. What really matters is the max sustained RPM the turbo will see.

It's going to be different for every person. Some guys might experience turbo failure at 10k on their FP Black, and some might make it to 100k. There are so many different variables.

Again, there is no "max boost" or published "failure point" for those turbos.

How efficient is the turbo at 35 to 40psi? Has anyone ever logged back pressure to see if running that much boost is even beneficial? Just curious.

Just put cams in to make more power. You have more areas to have power gained from without stressing the turbo more.
