Do FP JB SS turbos leak?

Particularly the Black. I've seen some threads about the SOME BB turbos having oil leaking issues, and was wondering if SOME JB turbos have the issues as well?

Yes, but with proper crankcase ventilation it will not.

And the newer Xona turbos should be even less prone, if I understand things correctly.

My JB FP black with SS housing leaks. I've always run 20W-50 VR1 gray bottle. I have the FP oil line with their .125" restrictor. I run my pcv just like factory except I added a Boomba PCV between the stock pcv and intake manifold to hold higher pressure. There is always a blotch of oil between the exhaust housing and center section on the bottom side. I can smell oil all the time while driving. I got pulled over by a police officer because it was smoking so bad out the exhaust cruising down a hill. This turbo has pretty much leaked from the get go. My factory 16g never did anything like this and I ran all sorts of pcv setups and oils and even ran it without a wastegate for a couple of years spinning it off the map.

I'm thinking about having it rebuilt but if it does it new then what's the point?

You need to improve crankcase ventilation.

I had an issue with some oil around the compressor cover when I was running a 2 port with both lines to the valve cover. Now I have a 3 port and no more oil coming out. A pre turbo suction line really should be ran on most catch cans.
