anyone know who sells these?i believe it was 23mm and it looks like it may be M18x1.5 like the oil cooler banjo bolts.

mine is rounded a little and actually has one stripped thread as well.thought it would be a good time to replace it.i tried to order the set from Skunk that says on the Ebay add,"EVO 8 oil drain and transmission drain plug set".it came in the mail today and unfortunately it is the oil drain but transmission fill/check plug.

anyone got a link for a nice magnetic transmission oil drain plug?

Thats the oil drain plug. I believe the correct part number for the transmission drain plug is MB569390.

i just ordered mine from the dealer it was about $5 or $7 im pretty sure its a 24mm

 

saw that Dimple and i'm not paying $35 for a bolt.

might be 24mm,couldn't remember if it was 23mm or 24mm,but i'm pretty sure it's M18x1.5x21,the outside specs don't really concern me,in fact i would rather have a different head on it b/c the OEM design is just right to get rounded off quickly.

MD701850 I believe is the correct part number for the tranny drain plug on 5 speed tranny for evo8/9. I just purchased one myself and will find out when I change the fluid in a day or two.
