You can as long as you stay with a 16g series. They also have kinugawa turbos from eBay which they sell 18g up to 25g compressor wheels. People have used them on here with decent results. Id look them up as I know they also have combo deals where you get the compressor housing and wheel together or more.

As for the 3076 that will not fit on the current turbine housing you have, at least to my knowledge.

The CHRA just alone for an evo 9 turbo is like $400 on ebay, plus then you need the compressor housing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Cartri...89ccd7&vxp=mtr
The only diference between the evo 8 10.5 hotside and the evo 9 is just that, the CHRA and the compressor, the turbine wheels are the same diameter you can interchange them. The CHRA internally is the same as well, the only diference is were the compressor mates to it.

Mitsubishi uses a reverse scroll turbo design. So to get a Garrett turbo to run you would have to run a different exhaust housing than stock.

There was a couple threads about ATP stock location turbos. They are less popular for a few reasons though.

only reason y i was askin was to see if i could save a few bucks on a new turbo by usin my stock turbine housing, makes sense tho, it would b nice if all we needed was new chra and compressor housing to have a gt30 series or equivalent turbo lol but i guess there wouldnt b ne money made by manufacturers
