What to do about bad rear diff?

The rear diff is making some bad noises. Sometimes it stalls the car. I'm not sure of what to do. If i change the fluids is it still covered by warranty? Also are there any aftermarket parts available yet? I saw shiv was having a problem to. Any suggestions.

Did you already change the fluids?

As long as the fluid meets the manufacturer specs you should be ok.

Take it in for waranty.

It's a new car. If parts break, go to the dealership instead of trying to fix it yourself. Unless it was your abuse that broke it!

It seems to be it just starded doing it. The first time i was making a slow sharp turn to the left at about 5mph. Me and my girlfriend just heard it for the first time , looked at each other and were like what the F was that. It was like a clicking sound, and u could feel something like miss a beat or something in the rear. I really don't beat on the car all that bad. More of a highway kiler myself. Shiv said his was from 550hp drag launches, and i'm nowhere nere that. So u think i should try changing the lube, or leave the stock stuff in and call the dealer. Could they trace a stainless clutch line as the culpret. I've heard all the dealer horrer stories. I just want to be sure i won't get f'ed in the *** by the dealer thats all.

Take it to the dealer unless youve got some serious mods that they can ***** about..... either way a clutch line is not going to be able to cause something like this and they have to prove that your parts caused the damage.

Just for ****s and giggles. Does anyone know of an aftermarket rear diff. I saw a few, but the majority of them r for the JDM models and will not work on U.S. spec.
