Boost source for 3 port

Ive done some searching and havent found much. Car has a grimmspeed 3 port, also has a buschur licp with no boost nipple. I currently have the boost source tapped into the dv line. This is my theory. When the grimmspeed starts bleeding boost to hold a set psi its causing the dv to fluttler/leak rapidly with the drop in the shared boost line. So short of modding the licp for a nipple, can I run a line from anywhere else? It only has to be boost, no vacuum. Would one of the throttle body ports suffice?

i would never share sources, it never works well. do you have any spare nipples left on the intake manifold? anything on the intake is good. as far as the throttle body, im not sure.

Seems to be a big issue for me. My load is way jumpy and I get alot of flutter at wot at only 21psi.

Sounds like your ECU boost just isn't tuned correctly all the way.

Also, the 3port can make a "flutter-ish" noise when regulating boost.

You can get a boost source anywhere pre-throttle body to help your concern. (don't tap into the DV line.)

*boostedtuning can you elaborate on the boost tuning. As far as noise from the grimmspeed im aware of the tapping noise the actual valve makes, but the noise im hearing seems to be coming from the dv.

*Gtijoe it is currently tapped into the dv. Would anyone know if either of the ports on the throttle body receive boost pressure?

I had the FP race pipe outlet when I had an FP Black.. I ended up welding a stainless 1/8" barb to that as a pressure source.

True...I switched from mbc to 3 port. 1st install was using a shared boost source from IM to dv and bc. I have a wg dump so its easy to hear that the wg "flutters" a bit (only at peak boost, then it stabilized). I questioned the shared boost source, so I kept the IM line to the dv and routed the bc source from the comp outlet nipple....absolutely no change in boost behavior.

My flutter would occur only at peak boost...gauge needle would shake a little, then stabilize as I continued with the pull. This was right when I installed it tho...we have tuned the wgdc and the flutter is now very minimal and has no effect on our ability to control boost, its just a funny noise at this point

My o2 is stock recirc, and my flutter does not stabalize. I do however see the gauge moving during wot.

Post some logs. Without logs, it kinda hard to help you.
