2 core vs 3 core radiator for evo8

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster glad to be here!

I have an evo8, and need to get a new radiator. I was looking at this one: http://www.redline360.com/mishimoto-...9-MMRAD-EVO-01 it's a dual core. Is the stock a single core? since im upgrading, would it make sense to get a triple core?

if stock is single, and this one is double, will there be any clearance issues?

do you guys recommend mishimoto? looks like it has a lifetime warranty.

thanks for any info!

This is a small review.

In short, the fitment should be good and it should clear everything since this is a direct replacement over the OEM one.

if you are buying a new radiator, get the MMRAD-EVO-456 as it has the upper hose moved away from the manifold.

Can't find that model number on the Mishimoto website.

Is this the one? http://www.redline360.com/mishimoto-...-MMRAD-EVO-456

It's the same fitment besides the hose? What hose do I use if I get this one for my Evo 8? any downside to using this radiator?

thanks for the help!

thats it. the upper hose that fits good is off a 2003 acura rl. you can get it here.

Amazon Amazon

here are pics of where the hose ends up.

if you have the stock airbox, im not certain it will fit. the upper hose is moved about 6" towards the drivers side.
