Evo IX MR - 6-speed shifter kit?

I'm looking to enhance the feel of the shifter for my IX MR. I can't seem to find anymore 6-speed short shift kits.

I called Works EVO but they only offer it in house now. They are sorta local to me so It's doable but it's 250 for the complete kit and then there's the labor.

Are there any other alternatives to where I can do it myself?

Main thing is that I want to get rid of the notchiness. Thanks!

You could try under hood bushing kits. I think the short throw on a 6 speed is pretty pointless. Probably why not many companies offer them.

Apparently you've never had a really short shifter. I had one on my mk5 GTi and my RSX-S and holy crap what a difference. One of my favorite mods of all time.

And, no, the 6-speed MR tranny is not short throw at all.

Works has always been the only ones to do a short shifter. There is not one within 500 miles of me though
