imo, the sprayers work well on the street. we had one on our shop ***** civic, we sprayed both co2 and n2o. it worked the same each time, no problems at all. not only that but the intake air temp corrections that had already been established held true and i did not have to adjust the fuel ( it had aem ems on it ) if the car had been injesting the n2o then i would have seen it go lean and it would have missed if it had sucked up the co2. the filter on the civic is way closer to the FMIC that it is in an evo.

we never sprayed it on the dyno, the soleniod fried in 1/2.

we switched to methanol/water injection, it works way better.... 30 deg intake temps on a 85 deg day boosting 28psi

Have any of the dynos been done with co2 because if they were then you know the gains are from the intercooler and not from the ingestion through the intake?

I am not a homo and I don't want a car where the slogan is "Hi" what a gas *** car, I don't care if it runs 6 seconds 1/4 it still stucks and it's still a homo's car.

that's why it is not logical to put N2O on a turbo car, too many variables you have to deal with, if it was a Mustang... a totally different story

i have hit up to 100hp wet shot of nitrous on my evo7.
no problems and nothing to worry about.it is absolutely safe.
however, i have forged pistons and crower rods as well as arp head studs.
so i guess that makes it pretty safe.but before these mods i hit a 50 shot for about 8 months(racing at the track every weekend) without a single problem..this was on stock internals.so it's very safe!

Was this a dry or wet shot of nitrous? please give us the details of what kind of system you were running and your setup.

I have a couple friends who use nitrous at the track with their turbo cars... but ONLY to reduce any sort of turbo lag that can happen... so i'm talking like 1/2 second - 1 sec of use.....
They also all were using standalone setups.....
FULLY tuned, just about any motor can take a 40 shot, but FULLY tuned probably isn't something easily obtainable with a factory turbo car w/ a nitrous setup.
in other words, theres no point for any turbo street car, esp for a turbo car thats already trying to make the most out of 91 **** gas.

I had a nitrous setup on my prelude... it worked, and it was great.... but i'll never go back to having to get refills, having to worry about bottle temp, bottle pressure, air in the lines, etc.....

it was a wet shot of nitrous.I dont know too much about the setup of it,but it was just like any other car.
I had a arm switch inside and it was hooked up to the throttle. From the launch to the end of the race the arm switch would be on.Nitrous would be spraying through gears 1 to 4.
did this for about 8 months honestly, without any engine mods.
just ran a apexi-safc.
so believe me..if you do it right you would not have problems.
just make sure that if you miss a gear...come off the accelerator!
