Hey just wondering if you can put a evo 9 turbo on and turn the boost down to about 15lbs

My car is tuned on 25psi on an evo 8 turbo the 9.8 I want to be safe so would 15psi be good? until I get time to be tuned? thanks I know its a dumb question but just want to make sure

 

I did it for a bit just don't beat on it and will be fine I wouldn't wait a real long time tho for a tune.

Yep it can be done just keep the boost down and your right foot up.

 

Like they said just dont push it too hard. You really need a re-tune with the 9 Turbo. But your going to love the gain you will get. Its crazy how 20psi feels with a 9 Turbo vs what 27psi felt like with the 8 Turbo. I had my 8 Turbo max out at 27psi with a pump gas tune and it was day and night switching to the 9 Turbo with the Same Boost.
