i am definatly sold on the bbk full

now for my next question. im going to get gsg s1 cams as well. i dont trust myself to do a cam install. i know i cant drive the car from my house to a shop to get the cams installed before i get the new injectors/e85 tuned to my car. so, is a tow to the shop my only option? i dont want to pay for a tune THEN get the cams installed and pay for another tune. that just seems like a waste of money.

any ideas?

U can have the cams installed and drive it around just fine, just dont rip on it. Also, I would fo the s2's over the s1's.

THANKS CBRD! i will definatly be sending you guys a pm shortly

good. im glad i got the cam install figured out. as far as cam grind, the only reason i would go s1's over s2's is drivability. i know its not a SUPER huge deal, but this is my only daily driver, so keeping things as smooth as possible is kind of an issue. i agree that s2's would be perferct to get that extra umph near top end, and maybe 30whp over the s1's, but i dont know if an extra $250-$300 for springs and retainers have a place in my budget at the moment.

my main goal is over 400whp. with a bbk full, 1200cc injectors, 3.5" ets fmic w/ piping, s1 cams, e85, and a good tune. i think ill make that

Easily do-able on E85. I'm well above that on 93.

Cad, since you are in Wichita have you tried getting on the ICT/Evo facebook group? I come out and tune for the guys once or twice a year and Chris (the current ring leader) knows his stuff as well as having a 760whp street car. It will be more now with the 3794 on it and 4" exhaust but we managed to max out the 3586 when I was there right before the Midwest Evo meet.

On a stock motor, 1100s and one 255 will max out the BBK for the most part. Chris is YamahaR1 that is correct
