0.14504 x kPa=Psi is the conversion rate i found, also did Al allow you any head room in his tune as far as raising the boost?

i would HIGHLY recommend monitoring your A/F ratios and timing before you go and up your boost... My car knocks horribly on stock boost and 91 pump gas

bro, you have a boost gauge right? if you do, and your currently at 19psi, turn it up a little and do a 3rd gear wot pull, see wut its at, if it goes above 22 then let off.

here is a site where you can do all the conversions for bar to psi and so forth. I use it since my gauge is in bar.

Also I thought HKS EVC 5 was an electronic Boost controller? Am I wrong?

its tunred up 100% on a and b settings, it only goes to 19 psi, it should max out 36 psi 100%, we cant figure out how to go past that 19 psi mark, its the HKS evc5, im reading the box as we speek....

First off check all your hoses for leaks. Second, are you using the stock rubber hoses for the EVC solenoid. If that is the case, it might be the problem. Stock lines contain a pill to restrict boost, somewhat like a filter. You need to replace these lines with silcone ones. If neither is your situation, I have no answers for you.

Its a clear vacuum thingy, take them off and just run straight rubber lines to the HKS stepping motor.

pruven performance installed it, i know in my stock lines the bost pill was already removed when i ran my (cough sucks) EXEDE ( cough)....so I have a feeling it is a function on the display that we are not understanding or not using, all directions were in Japanease.....anyone know what 187 kpa equals into PSI lbs.???
