BOV Flutter?

I'm a noob at this kinda stuff so I need your guys' opinion. I have a Evo 9 with a tbe aem intake and a turbosmart bov. Am I supposed to hear flutter when I'm just cruising allow speeds shifting into gears. (ex. 20-30 2 gear into 3) and a psssh after I get on it? Or do I have to tune it a bit better? I heard that's how I'm supposed to have it. It doesn't flutter when I get on it tho. Thanks you guys

The flutter is fine. The spring inside the turbosmart is just tight not allowing it to open fully. Your fine though.

What turbosmart BOV you using?

when it flutters it means ur bov is not fully open to release air so it backpressures ur turbo... that is the fluttering sound u hear... the reason u hear phhh is because ur into more boost and valve opens fully... this is normal but i would recommend setting ur bov to a softer spring or if u have twist it where it opens easily

Well loosen it until it stops fluttering. But if your going to a race day or you know your going to be doing WOT pulls then tighten it back down
