Thanks for the clarification Chris. It sounds like I'll still be happy with my EF3. I'm not an instant-power junky. I'm OK with a little lag.

That's an interesting statement - normally I hear it the other way around.

Sign me up for the group buy. Can you PM me a price guide for sending in a stock Evo 9 turbo core? Also, I'll call on Monday to discuss more details. I'll take one ASAP... got a Synapse DV and intake waiting to go on with a turbo upgrade.

I checked all over the world for that shifter, my friend. It was the first time I sent a part that did not make it to its destination.

Bump. Curious to see how many people want this turbo. Looks like it makes the same/better power than the HTA Green with even better spool, almost stock-like.

are you talking about a turbo that hasn't been built and tested yet?

Oh...it's been built...actually two prototypes have been assembled...and it's a completely conventional arrangement so functionally I have zero concerns. We had great success on the EVO X platform with this arrangement...NOW the only reason we haven't tested it in house is due to the move. Our dyno is essentially down until the HVAC system for the dyno room is completed.

And that's where I come in. I'll do the testing for MAP and show how well this turbo does on your average Evo 8/9 on both 91 and E85.
