Crower adj. cam gears and timing

Hey EvoM!

I am about to drop my 2.4l build into my car and upon opening my shiny new crower adj cam gears I notice that both gears' dowel pins were in different positions. As you can see from the pictures, the instructions say that the gears come pre set for EVO 8 which is what I have and that the correct dowel pin location is the "off center" one. So did they just come in wrong and I have to flip the plate to the correct position? Or maybe one is just for the exhaust/intake side? Just covering my bases.
And I snapped a pic of my dowel positions as they lie in the head, not too familiar with timing on this motor with a 4g64, so any insight would be extremely helpful.

Thanks guys
