Full acceleration to stop = stalling

Sometimes, not all the time... if i accelerate fully and then sow down to a stop immediately after my car will shuttrr and stall. It starts right back up but is just annoying. Im thinking it could be smoothed out with a retune (which im getting shortly). I just wanted to get some input as well.

Evo 8, basic bolt ons i/e/ fuel pump / intercooler and piping, tuned on 24psi

Was it tuned when it was warmer out? How cold is it where you live? I've noticed in the warmer months it doesn't do it at all, but in the cold months it can randomly.

Are you still using MAF and using a differnt BOV that vents to atmospher?

That's your problem. On MAF cars you need to recirculate your BOV back into your intake. Some tuners tune around as best as they can. That is 100% your problem.
Recirculate your vented air back into your intake and your stalling issue will be fixed.

Or get tuned for speed density and get rid of the MAF. Then you can vent to atmospher with no problem.

+1

Mine did the same thing when I was on the maf and a tial 50mm bov, you eaither need to retune on speed density, or recirc the bov back to the intake.

It's more than likely because when you let off, it's still very rich which will cause the idle to drop/stall.

Depends on how your tune setup is. Open loop or closed loop. You tuned???
