Need help removing clutch restrictor

I have the clutch release out but I cant figure how to get the clutch restrictor out. I was looking at the guide at Evo Motorsports and following it but still cant get it out. The holes on both sides of the restrictor are just too small to get anything out of. What am I doing wrong? Help!

Thanks

use a hanger. lucky for me when i was removing it, i drop the cylinder on the ground when i unbolted it,and the restrictor poped out . if you can't get it out with hanger, drop it like i did about 6 inches in the air

Man I feel dumb. The restrictor must have fallen out when the banjo bolt fell out. I had been trying to get it out for like 20 minutes and I took the whole thing apart. Then I went to the garage and found the restrictor on the ground.

It gives a much better clutch engagement feel. I installed the SS clutch line at the same time so Im not sure how much differance it would make removing the restrictor by itself. I can say the clutch feels much better and its easy to tell when the clutch is going to engage now.
