Ok, i started a thread bout this before, couldnt find it so i started another, ne ways i said that my belt squeeked after i washed it.... and sombody said its wet... ok well i havnt washed my car in a week and a half and it does it all the time..... has anyone else had this problem? it sounds like either the alternator or maybe a lower pulley...
Your belt is glazed from slipping. Why not get a 12mm box wrench, the handy craftsman socket set, and tighten or replace it. That's what forums are for, for learning how to do stuff. Asking a question is better than posting a gripe.
