Intercooler sprayer delete for custom cold air intake?
I think this applies more to 03/04 who have that useless if sprayer or relocated their acd pump.
My sprayer pump took a dump and I don't want to put a new pump in there.
My question is has anyone extended their short ram intake to the cooling duct in the bumper?
I think the only issue is the maf sensor and whether or not to put it with the filter or just extend piping from the Maf sensor and that's it.
I'm not concerned about getting water in there, it isn't a jeep.

I'm a firm believer that cold air is good-hot air is bad. After removing the sprayer tank, etc, I used the area behind the bumper opening for a cold air collector. I Fabricated it out of sheet metal, mounted it right to the opening, and connected it to a 4 inch ID, 90 degree plastic air duct. That brought it to the inside of the wheel well. In my case, it sits inside of a custom air box, but you can do what ever you like at that point.
I'm against placing the air filter and maf down in the wheel well. Water and extending the maf wires are my reasons for keeping them up top.
