You want a clutch that you can launch, but you are worried about noise? You'll never get a stock quiet clutch that is relatively easy to modulate, can take sustained abuse, and shift without lockout at 7500+ rpm, at least not yet. With that said, the noise is nothing like a multiplate clutch. Its just a bit of decel noise. I can't remember if it had any rattle with the clutch pedal pushed in. I'm sure others will comment.

Kidding of course, I expect some noise, just don't want people thinking the car is falling apart as they are riding in it. .. Again the car is 99% a street car.
Besides, It's not like I'm looking to launch daily. .. just 10 times a year or so, I'm hoping to find the best compromise in a clutch setup.

Clutch installed and i have ~800 miles on it.
I'm reserving my review as i seen to have some weird noises and I'm not sure they're all related to the clutch.
I was having a slight whirring noise at idle with clutch pedal out, so while having the tranny down, i decided to replace the input shaft bearings and re-shim the tranny. I've rebuilt many dsm trannys in the past so this is something I'm comfortable with.
That same whirring noise is still there after the bearing replacements, but unfortunately there are two more distinctive noises that were not that before.
The noises causing me the most concern is
1. Gear rattle at idle if clutch pedal raised quickly. (Slowly allowing clutch to engage does not produce this noise)
2. Gear rattle if free rev'd with clutch pedal out.
I have an abundance of experience with aggressive clutches, but admittedly this is my first solid hub clutch.
Is great rattle normal for a solid hub clutch with the car not moving?
I'm trying to determine if it's normal clutch related noise or if i need to tear open the tranny again.

I have a comp stage 2 unspring clutch and since day 1 it made a decel noise between 60 mph and 80 mph. Sounds like a rattle not loud but noticeable with the stereo low or off. Also, sometimes notice a small rattle in neutral that goes away when you are press the clutch in. Not really loud since my injectors and loud lifters kinda of drowns the sound out lol. I got use to it though since the evo makes all kinds of sounds and any clutch that is gonna hold the power is gonna have some quirks.
