sorry sven i didnt see that actaully lol well its good to know cause we planned on pulling the head off that IX motor parting it out since none of it will work in the VIII's head, and then building up a head for the VIII since we more or less know the motor is build ( and we will tear her down an replace all bearings an have the rotating assembly blue printed ) and the turbo will be sent out to be rebuilt as well and to figure out what size the thing is lol but thanks Sven, BTW do you know how to block off the MIVEC pump?

 

Haha youre welcome, if the block is tapped for a Mivec feed and youre going to put an 8 head on that tapped block, you just have to put a bolt in to keep it plugged.

 

Now what if I wanted to run the IX fuel system..rail injectors and everything on my VIII until I do the swap..Will that cause any issues or will my VIII ECU be able to run it??
