Question Does GT35R + T4 Divided 1.15 A/R = LAG?

This is on a 4g64 2.2l CR 10:1 E85. If someone who has first hand experience would reply it would be most appreciated.

No, about 10psi more at 4500 from a 1.15 T4 divided vs the 0.82 T3.

If I get a chance today (but tomorrow if nothing else) I will find the dyno sheet in question.

Question

So do you put it down to the efficiency of the design of the T4 divided or the actual A/R compared to a T3 .82 is smaller around the turbine?

The Garrett white paper which I have unfortunately misquoted before, goes something like this-

A divided housing will spool as though it were 60% the size it is. For a given power level on a undivided (this is the part I misquoted) the divided housing will need to be 1.2x larger than the undivided.

In normal terms-

A 1.15 will spool like a 0.69 A/r T4 open (1.15 x 60%), but have the max power potential of a 0.96 A/r (1.15 / 1.2)

Here are my results using the GTX3076r, which spools the same as the GTX3576r. This was on stock motor.

0.63a/r T3 OS(RevHard Kit) vs. 0.82a/r T3 OS(RevHard Kit) vs. 1.06a/r T4 TS(custom header)

The .82 edged out the 1.06 up top by 11hp but the 1.06 had it all the way through the power band up until then. I reckon the 1.15 would edge it out up top.

1.5 inch or 2 inch runners on the exhaust manifold? On the 1.15 it would work well either way I suppose.

DId you mean 1.25" or 1.5" weld els? I run 1.5" (1.60" ID), which is the larger size.

Question

Got any numbers on the 1.32 A/R or you think that is overkill or actually nice?

If you didn't buy the turbo yet then go with either a 6266, 6466, or FP35Hta with the bigger turbine wheel. I forget the size. The 35r turbine is small imo. Use nothing smaller then a 1.00 housing. 1.15 being perfect.

No it will not = lag. Your going to spoolup quicker and harder then a open t3 .82 setup
