gsc s2 vs gsc s3?

well first of all I was kind of bummed because I was waiting for over 3 months for the s2's that are still back ordered. I have decided to go with the s3's and will have them in a day or two, I hope I have made a wise decision? Can't wait to get these installed with my stock ported im and new throttle body.

Not trying to bash but is that a question or opinion?

Ill be the first one to say it depends on your build and where you want to be at power wise

My GSC S2s matched up real nicely with my BBK Full. I think you have made a good decision and they will be a good fit with the BB-BBK-B! Post up results asap!

check out the dyno sheet by english.

A good engine making a lot of power needs the right combination that's what my pops always told me.

I was leaning more toward opinions. I know the s2 is a great cam from what I have read, but I no longer want to wait and once I read about how the s3's worked on stock turbo/2.0 engines I was in. I don't mind trading a little slower spool for some better top end.

the s3's will make more uptop then the s2. i have posted multiple comparisons and examples of what s3's do vs stock cams and vs kelford 272, and so forth. you did not make a bad decision. for the minimal amount of lag downlow you gain a lot more top end. just make sure you have a good set of springs/retainers preferably GSC beehive or Kiggly beehive.

Thanks Tom. Yeah I did read some of your threads about the comparisons you posted and after reading them it made my decision that much easier. I ended up buying the supertech's duals /retainers with seals, how do these compare to the others you mentioned ?

supertech duals will work, but make the valvetrain alittle noisier then the ones i mentioned. I used the supertech duals on the s3's for awhile, but now switching to kiggly beehives.
