I will always be amazed by the way some people think. If all you want is something fast that weighs nothing. Take a civic hatchback, throw in a built motor, turbo it, and you can make 500+whp in a car that weighs 1800-1900lbs. But thats still not an overall daily driver. lol

Some people are just jealous.

Yep your right 15 k into a civic would be fast but can you drive it on the streets....no...can you take it to a road track and keep up with almost everyone there...............no....what can you do besides trailor it to the tracka nd "tell people" how you have a fast car. Forgoet that I want a 400 hp daily driver that I can show people how fast it is, still be able to drive it to work and home, take it to the drag track and still pull a "crappy" 11, and if I feel like it be able to take it to a road track and have fun. trailor cars or for people who only care about drag racing and dont mind driving a slow car every day(unless they are really rich in which case they can enjoy both). I want to drive my car. Enough said.

Well, I was jumping for joy just a little too soon regarding my rattle free status. I ended up having to do some more adjustments last night. I found that in order to clear the driveshaft U-brackets adequately I had to straighten the rear hanger on the cat back pipe and rebend it to allow more movement towards the passenger side of the car. Nothing 15 minutes with an acetylene torch and channel lock pliers couldn't take care of. Still, if this rear hanger were shaped like an elongated closed hairpin loop versus a closed eye it would allow for very easy adjustment. All I needed was an additional 1/2" or so to gain the clearance.

That minor issue aside, I still can't believe how hard this thing pulls! I had my cousin take the car for a drive with me riding shotgun. His impression: the way it pulled reminded him of a supercharged 5L Mustang a co-worker of his built. My impression: it's amazing how much harder a car feels like it is pulling when you aren't driving. I guess if you can't anticipate the throttle being mashed to the floor it's easier to enjoy the accelleration Gs.

Okay, I'm done gloating...

I have the 3" BR turbo back and I used stock hangers and have no issues at all with rubbing other than you have to turn the CAT so it does not hit the heatshield.

Yup, that was my point. Some people just dont understand that.

There is a kid here who keeps talking about how fast him and his buddies are going to be in their honda/acura's with turbos. I always say...just wait...run from a dead stop and see what happens..haha
