Turbos been out of warranty 3+ years now. Not worried one bit about having it sourced from the head if it was going to fail from lack of oil it would have done so long long ago in a land far far away.

Yeah, i'm sure OP will be fine from head, I see a lot of people do it.

I called PTE as I wasn't sure what to do and they said OFH so that's what I did (already had a feed line kit with inline filter from OFH from Forced Performance on the car). No issues here either.

Yea xsilver and I both plan on feeding from the OFH. Our question now is feed size and fitting size for on the turbo.

When I was purchasing mine I spoke with STM and they said either is fine. I chose to go from the head and I'm running a 6466.

not to bring this back a year later....... but do any of you guys have issue with your 6466 or 6266 BB turbos smoking? mine has about 10 miles on it and it blows a little smoke out the exhaust under boost and a little idling.

how it relates to this topic is that most people say its the size of the restrictor or the size of the feed or return line setup....

i have the factory restrictor (dont know the size) and a -4 feed from OFH with a -10 return and it smokes, as well as my buddys new precision aswell on his subaru
