Advice/impressions

I'm thinking seriously about getting an open dump on my stock turbo ix. I would like to hear from people that have one and what their impressions are of it. I know many people think they are too loud but is that mostly at WOT? What brand would you recommend? Any issues it might have caused?

It is obot loud at full boost. It is very loud. I love it because you can make the rest of the exhaust quieter and not lose as much power because the dump makes up for a restrictive exhaust. Plus it gives better boost control. So you take away noise on cruise and regular driving and add it back at full boost.

it only loud once you reach wastegate pressure, other than that it quiet for regular driving. you wont even notice daily driving if you drive like a normal human being.

The dump only flows then the waste gate is open (full boost).. If you drive normally it will be exactly the same as it is now in terms of noise.

I've heard some clips on YouTube and it was definitely loud which I don't mind. I guess I just need to figure out what company to go with. Thanks for the answers. Keep em coming.
