That's a really cool space you have there! I'll have to PM you and pick your brain about that gantry crane setup you have over the lift as Im hoping to do a similar thing. Looks like your shop is similar to my space I've got a 32x24 gambrel with a 2nd floor for storage. But don't want to continue to derail this thread as its been going strong for a few years with a lot of helpful tips and places to investigate pesky oil leaks.

I've been following this one for awhile as I think I have the same issue. Fwiw, I did redoo the oil pan seal, still have the leak on the back of the block :-/

Darn, I was hoping it was the oil pan, not that my issue couldn't be that but still. Have you replaced your front or rear main seal?

When I did my clutch the rear main wasn't leaking at all so that could be ruled out. On the front main, there was a tiny bit of oil mist on the block around where the oil pan met, but it definitely didn't look like enough to be the path that was covering the back of the block

I swear ours must be leaking in the same exact spot. I had no oil near my clutch so in my case too its gotta be coming from the passenger side then.

As letsgetthisdone stated

There is also the oil cooler lines up there. The lines themselves, or the banjo fittings at the OFH could be leaking..

Was there ever a definitive conclusion to the most likely leak paths? I’ve got the subframe and driveline out and would love to seal up the source of my ‘slick.

For those who’ve added significant crankcase venting, did that measurably improve the leaks?

Sadly no I never figured this out prior to killing my motor a few months ago. I think I had a few issues that were't exactly tied together but essentially made me think something was amiss and related when reality everything was mutually exclusive.

The one thing that I never tackled was resealing my oil pan and it was certainly plausible thats where my leak was coming. But I never confirmed that.

As far as oil in the IM when I last pulled it off there was still some oil in there and this was after I addressed CC pressure issues and opened up the side vent.

After disassembling my head I found that I trashed a bunch of valve stem seals. So another theory was that oil was slipping past them and found its way into my intake manifold.

Where is youu mess? Internal or external? Apparently oil can creep so if you've addressed all the misc gaskets and sensors that could seep and you havent looked into your oil pan might be worth investigating further.

The firewall side of the block is all slick. There doesn't appear to be a single source, and it starts along the bottom of the intake manifold and gets worse on down, biased toward the front. Tranny is out and the rear main is fine. I've sealed the pan before, but will again as soon as I get the modified sump back from repairs. There is a single drop dangling from the knock sensor presently...

Planning to clean it all up again, then thread seal the oil pressure and knock sensors. Yes, I know the knock sensor hole is blind. Also planning to do TSComp Tom's valve cover fitting mod. Hoping the internal pressure is what's pushing out the oil.
