Help!!

I'm new to these forums so bare with me lol I just recently bought a 2004 evo 8 with 78500 mile on it. Everything is great on it mechanically except my clutch / shifter. After sitting over night it is almost impossible to get into any gears ESPEACALLY reverse. I let it warm up for 5-10 mins and it still dsnt do anything. Once I finally get it going its good and bad It'll shift like it's brand-new when it wants to do and then it won't go in to gear sometimes and I'm not trying to force and after the car sits and I go back its either ****ty again or shifts like butter but reverse is never better it always fights and dosent want to go in and when it does it stays in for a sec then grinds and pops out. The guy said he had a stage 2 clutch in it and the pedal is real firm and catches real low idk if that helps. Any advice would be helpful thank you

Sounds like your clutch is not disengaging all the way.
you need to check for leaks in the hydraulic system for the clutch, and bleed the clutch.
If all of that is good, you need to remove the clutch and check the disc thickness. A worn disc will cause this problem also.
Hope this helps

May want to try adjusting it out a bit. Especially since you are saying it's grabbing off the floor
