I've been looking all over for an answer to this question for a past few days. I'm not sure if I'm searching the wrong title or what not but does anyone have any answers to my question? (are the evo 9 aftermarket downpipes usable on the evo 8 without the acd)

I know that the evo 8 (03-04) wont fit the evo 9's (05-06) But wanted to know if it would if the other way around.

I've saw a few evo 9 downpipes off 06's forsale locally but just wanted to double check before purchasing.

Just get it. Nothing a 10lb sledgehammer couldn't make fit.

 

The reason the Evo 8 downpipes won't fit the 9's is they have a offset to clear the ACD, but a 9 down pipe should fit a Evo 8 no problem it just won't be as straight as a 8 down pipe. If you go to google and look at the different downpipes you'll see what I'm talking about. Hope this helps.
