Question o2 Housing bolts fall out?

Hi Guys-

I recently did a kinugawa 25G turbo install myself. As you know, the stock turbo has 2 studs that mate with the o2 housing so there are 3 bolts and 2 nuts securing it to the turbo. The kinugawa did not come with those studs, so I needed 5 bolts, and picked up some from home depot along with lock washers. My problem is the bolts keep falling out while driving. It just happened for the 3rd time and so I think it has to do with the HD bolts being lower grade metal.

Ultimately my question is this: Where can I get 5x of the OEM o2 housing bolts FAST, or are there any others that will work just as well?

Ideally I would like to purchase them locally so I can get my car fixed this weekend.

Thanks for any advice on this

I am collecting all my parts for my 25g install. What I had to do was go to steel shop and buy a rod and cut the studs to length (they can probably do this depending where you go). I forget the size but just bring in your turbo and they will be able to find out the thread size.

the 3 oem bolts you have, take the 2 studs out if you havent already and order 2 more oem bolts with oem exhaust manifold lock washers.

It happens, even when using OEM hardware. Happened to myself and a few friends at the track; one guy on multiple occasions. Check out the Nordlock washers. We all replaced the oem washers with those, and it never happened again.

i just got done installing these on my evo 8. the top two bolts are not to hard to get to but the one in the rear of the o2 housing is a bit difficult. to install it i had to use a socket + a 3/8 universal joint + a 3/8 impact universal + 4" extension + ratchet= success it installed just fine from the bottom side of the engine. just don’t over torque them.

Interesting. I never had a an issue with them backing out. I torque them down to spec and move on.
