Hello. Help me please. Before building the motor i did not have problems with RS transmission . but when i did 2.2 manley stroker and 4.11 final drive ( vr4 ) in my transmission i received problems with gears. i can not insert 2,3,4,5 gears when i rotate my motor more then 7000 rpm. and i broke 3d gear the second time in 10000 km. i think it is not reliably for 5 mt rs(((((( what should i do??? ( I have ACT heavy duty clutch)

 

try a better clutch. one with clutch disc is lighter than stock. ACT clutch disc is very heavy.

disc weight effects shift speed. lighter discs allow higher rpm shifting. heavy discs lower the rpm you can shift at.

 

what clutch can improve my problem???? only exedy hd and os giken??? or can i buy smth cheaper???

 

carbonetic blade clutch is fantastic choice

 

QM 8leg is the best . my evo 881whp with stock Trans and it shifts very good even on 9500rpms ..

 

excellent clutch for drag car thats need to survive high HP launch and shift well.

street cars should expect a noisy as hell clutch. very short life. many reported dead at just 2500 miles. and very difficult to start from dead stop. I never recommend the Qm8 for anything but a drag car.

 

Im using street flywheel with drag clutch my car has 9k right now 730whp pump+meth and 881whp 700tq c16 . no problems at all .
