Spark plug wont thread in.

Okay so I did a compression test, and when I tried screwing my spark plug back in it just wouldnt grab or tighten down just kept spinning. So I thought it might be the spark plug itself, but it screwed down just fine into one of the other cylinders.

I dont know what to call it but, are my threads stripped in the block?

Sounds like you might have damaged the threads in the plug well. If that's the case, Don't try retapping it in the car, pull the head and get it done properly

I've never had to deal with this problem but stripped spark plug threads in aluminum heads is a common problem - a problem certain automotive shops can fix. Check around.

Sucks you have to pull the head for something like that....but its the only way you can do it properly.
