Quick stupid spark plug question

Switching plugs out while struggling through my clutch... anyways I got NKG BPR8ES plugs from MAP and the threads are a complete different length than the Iriduiums that were in there. So When they are fully Threaded in the Coil setup doesn't sit down flush. The screws for the coils arn't even long enough. Im sure there is a thread on this somewhere... Just hoping for a quick answer thanks alot.

Those plugs are not meant for the Evo 9, you need to get a different plug such as the ILFR7H or IKH22. These two are your options.

Stick with NGK for this one too. My friend bought an evo9 and a month later the motor grenaded because the previous owner cheaped out and put autolites in . Spark plug broke off and you can guess the rest.

Well that's good, because that is all that you can run in the 9

^^ Like he says they're for an VIII.The right ones for a IX are the ILFR7H Irridium ones.
After i bought my car i also found the VIII plugs in there and immediately bought the ILFR7H ones.
