Evo IV ayc delete verification

I have an evo IV with ayc, I have access to an evo IV rs, so from reading all I need is the diff, mustache bar, axles? How about the rest life getting rid of the ayc stuff and still having my abs work and such? Thanks guys

I converted my evo 4. you will need the parts you listed plus the front mount . you abs wont work. need to remove abs bulb in dash. delete saves 49 lbs! I added rs tcase with limited slip, so there are three mechanical LSDs on board.

The front Mount as in? Front mount of the rear diff? I'm wondering if I should pick up the transfer case from this guy too... is there any way to retain abs?

wrong
I've converted mine and ABS still works normally

ayc won't work without abs but vice versa it's all ok. abs works without ayc

Thanks for clearing that up stunt2. I think I'll grab that transfer case too since it's cheap enough

Yea. Guy was trying to rip me. Went today to pick up the parts (rear diff, transfer case) saw two ports on the rear diff dripping hyd fluid... "Thought this was a RS diff?" "It is, that's where the lines hook up to the oil pump".... "Uhhh, the oil pump is for AYC, which RS' don't have..."

Walked away, money intact.
