The manifold material is irrelevant, if you're snapping bolts it's because the threads galled and ended up seizing. It's extremely common on bolts that are heat cycled a ton. You need to either use inconel hardware like the factory hardware, or use a good high temp anti seize. Loctite makes a few anti seizes that are good for 2500F.

Ya I purchased the longer (dsm) bolts. Haven’t ordered manifold just yet. But I was wondering from an aesthetic standpoint if I should go with the ti. But kind of worried about them snapping off.

I'll be looking for that, I don't think my threads were jacked up though, I had only taken the turbo off once before. I think what screwed me was using a non high temp antiseize.

Not sure I'd worry about aesthetics when it comes to a turbo and manifold. OEM is always going to be best, if it works.

It's a spray-on coating for the inside of headers. I used it on the inside and outside of my manifolds, the outside of the turbine housing, and brake calipers since it stands up to the heat. The stuff is awesome.

^^ Where do I get it!?
I've tried the crap from autozone on headers before and it ended up just flaking off and looking awful.

They also now make a darker, grey color that I really like, for a manifold.
