Burning oil on throttle lift, oil in turbo inlet

So I'm starting to rethink what the issue is with my car. I had assumed it was the rings or valve seals simply due to the engine having 109k on it.

The symptoms are grayish/blue smoke after I let off the gas on a pull. It's totally random, ie I can make a bunch of pulls and it's fine, then maybe just gently pulling away from a gas station or something, I'll get a trail of blue smoke.

Anyway I was doing some work on the car over the weekend and had to remove the intake tube from the turbo(OG Green). There was quite a bit of oil in the turbo inlet and the intake tubing. I'm no SD, and my Tial vents to atmosphere, so there is no recirc into the intake.
That leads me to believe it's the turbo seals rather than the engine.

I'd like to hear some thoughts on this.

Thanks,
Fred

Forgot to mention, there is virtually no shaft play.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but when I had my stock turbo, I still had the line running to the intake side of the valve cover and after going WOT, then letting off the gas I could literally smoke an entire highway out LOL. I'm pretty sure I was getting serious blow-by, but I'm not 100% sure about it. What kinda peak boost you hitting and do you have a catch can setup?

No catchcan.
24psi
But it will randomly do it holding a steady 5psi or so, like slowly catching up to someone on the highway doing 80-90 and keeping it there in 5th. That was probably one of the biggest smoke shows it's made.
Doesn't need to be a hard pull, just totally random.
