Is it blinking fast or slow, this shows there's two different tunes on the car. Try it again and see if it pulse speed changes and start.

 

I vote valet mode

 

Does the car start and idle? Like normal? Valet mode sounds right though I thought most set it to 3k rpm. If it doesnt start well or other lights are flickering, check your battery terminals.

 

Tephra V7 comes with the Valet set at 1500 rpms. I do set the valet to 3000 for most customers who want valet.

 

When the car is started the check engine light blinks fast then shuts off. And yeah it doesn't go past 1500. I'm hoping it is the tephra v7. That would just be one thing I never knew about the car having lol

 

*UPDATE* so you guys were all right about the car having the tephra mod. It worked! Question now is how can I find out if the car has other maps I can be using? Since I don't have the Ecuscan or the programming to check.

 

On an 8 I think its changed with the intercooler sprayer but im not sure how, someone else would have to chime in. Any reputable tuning shop should check for you if you take it in

 

ECUFlash is free, but you'll need a tactrix cable to pull the current rom image onto your laptop. I personally like the 1.3R cable from www.evoscan.com. For $25 you can get EvoScan (to log). I highly recommend every modded car should be able to log.

I also recommend getting a Wide Band sensor installed. Last you'll need to download TephraV7 xml files. They can be found on here by searching or going to the ecu section and put the appropriate one in your OpenECU Evo Romdatta file.

Valet mode is set up with the TPS/Throttle. Switching maps can be done with the TPS (if valet is not enabled), the ICS button or an ADC switch. The tuner will set this up.

I use my ICS button to switch maps and my TPS to use valet.

 

Thanks for all the info! Never knew the ecuflash is free, I am definitely getting the cable! That is a must, the car is running super rich as it is, there was a wideband installed already. But thanks for the suggestions
