Ive had the hobbs switch for 3 years now, never had an issue. Injector gunk causing a cylinder to run hot is more of a worry to me than a failing hobbs switch

The factory regulator gets a bit overwhelmed at first, but then starts doin it's job.

Sooo youre saying my idea of a 255 running primary and then the 450 kicking on when its needed would be okay?

or vice versa? I just woke up pardon my confusion lol.

Or would it be better to simply hardwire the 450 and 255 just to run at the same time? Or should it just be two 450s lol

i just got my fuel system finished up, car is almost complete now

i went with a buschur double pumper with 2 walbro 450's with -8 lines going into a y and 1 -10 going to the motor and a -6 return line with a fuelab fpr. 2nd pump is on a hobbs switch. also using id2000 injectors. should be enough fuel.

Ok cool looks like 450's and a -8/-6 is the way to go.

ebp, what do you mean when you say youve got a two -8 lines running into a Y. Are you talking each pump feeds up thru a -8? Or attached to your bulkhead is two -8s into a -10?

Nice tidbit of info. If AFR went from 12.2 to 10.1, the pumps were definitely well beyond their flow range which is what I would expect from a dual Walbro 255.
