Head sealing issues on 2.4?
I am looking to get a 2.4 long rod short block. Are the head sealing issues over exaggerated or shall I be worried before going ahead with the build?


2.4 users please chime in.

I think it comes down to how much power/boost you're looking to make. I haven't had any problems with my lr2.4, granted I'm only making about 410hp. I'm using a evo9 head gasket enlarged to 87mm.

I'm using a modified evo ix hg as well. I male over ypp+ on a mustang dyno and I haven't had sealing issues.

I did search a lot regarding this but did not find any info from real-time 2.4 users. I am aiming for 700whp.
