If you put a window in your block, I would say save some cash and buy a 2.4 block. Mine cost 75$ from a local junk yard.

I have a fully built 2.4, forged crank, billet rods etc... I can tell you that my base tuned 2.4 feels like a caged beast with very mild manners while cruising. Tom at TSComptuned is doing the tuning for me, since I finally got the gremlins worked out, and I should have some numbers in the near future. If you don't have a tuner yet, you may want to consider Tom. He has been extremely helpful with the learning curve and even on a base tune, my car runs smooth as butter on speed density.
